DebtSelector Financial Solutions ("DebtSelector," "we," "us") provides a decision-support calculator. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our website and tools.
Information we collect
The debt optimizer is designed to run in your browser. Debts, loan details, budget figures, and preferences you enter are stored locally on your device (for example, in browser storage). We do not require an account to use the calculator.
- Calculator inputs you choose to enter (debts, payments, APRs, income, etc.)
- Optional backups you export as files on your own device
- Standard technical data your browser may send when loading pages (such as IP address, browser type), if our hosting provider logs requests
How we use information
Local calculator data is used only on your device to run scenarios and remember your list between visits. We do not sell your debt information. If you contact us by email, we use that correspondence to respond to your request.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical logs needed to operate the website. We do not share your locally stored debt list with lenders or advertisers because that data stays on your device unless you export or send it yourself.
Data retention
Browser-stored data remains until you clear it in the app, clear your browser storage, or remove the site data. Exported backup files are under your control.

- Use Clear saved data in the optimizer to wipe local calculator data
- Export a backup before switching devices
- Clear site data through your browser settings
Children
DebtSelector is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
